Duluth police are investigating another armed home invasion in the Central Hillside.
Authorities were called to a home on North 1st Avenue East and 6th Street Monday just after 4 in the morning.
When police arrived they learned there had been an intruder with a gun but the person had fled shortly before they arrived.
Fairly standard home invasion.
Within a short time authorities stopped a vehicle and found a man hiding in the backseat.
The man matched the description of the intruder and a gun, registered in his name was found in his possession.
The passenger was positively identified as the man who had invaded the house with a gun.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested and are being held in the St. Louis County jail.
I'm glad he was caught. I'd be interested to know how the gun was registered in the thug's name, when Minnesota has no form of gun registration.
